Energy Assessor Training

CIBSE Training offers a comprehensive portfolio of courses for those wanting to develop their energy performance specialisms and work towards becoming recognised energy assessors.

The courses are designed for those who want to: join the Low Carbon Consultant Register; become a Low Carbon Energy Assessor (LCEA); become an accredited Air Conditioning Inspector; or become a Heat Networks Consultant.

CIBSE Low Carbon Consultants help building owners and occupiers by advising them on how to reduce energy use and carbon emissions, beyond simply the legal requirements.

Low Carbon Energy Assessors (LCEAs) provide Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) and Display Energy Certificates (DECs). Any non-domestic building bought, sold or rented is now required to have an Energy Performance Certificate, with DECs being required for buildings occupied by public authorities. Energy certificates can only be provided by certified energy assessors who are members of an approved scheme such as CIBSE Certification Ltd.

LCEAs also produce Air Conditioning Inspection Reports (ACIR), which are now required for all air conditioning systems with rated outputs over 12 kW at intervals.

Our LCEAs are industry leaders who provide, alongside the required energy certificate, an accompanying thorough report which helps you to put the advice given by our LCEAs into practice.
