My client is an award winning and International multi-disciplined consultancy that solely works within Building Services. They are looking to expand further due to growth, new business opportunities and gaining further market share. My client is looking to hire a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join them and work on exciting varied projects. Projects range in value but regularly exceed £10m.

You will be rewarded with a very competitive salary, private medical healthcare, pension and a friendly working environment with sociable team members. You will play a big part in delivering the companies projects and will be given a lot of opportunity to progress to Principle/Associate level.

As part of your role you be responsible for the design and specification of Mechanical Building Services Installations, liaising with clients on a project by project basis, quality inspections, dealing with contractors and report writing.

When applying for this role a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer you will have skills and/or experience in the following items in order to be successful:

  • Mechanical design engineering within UK Building Services
  • Degree educated
  • HVAC load calculations
  • Knowledge of Hevacomp, AutoCAD, IEV, VE
  • Knowledge of British Standards and Building regulations
