This leading established global Group who have grown in recent years are looking for an experienced Electronic Design Engineer/Hardware Engineer/R&D Design Engineer with good exposure to Electronic Sensor Applications or Switch Mode Power Supply Design (SMPS), Low Power, to work in a multi-disciplined R&D team.
The Hardware Engineer should have an Electronics or Physics Degree with broad experience in Analogue Design, Digital Design, or concept/designing and developing switch mode power supply (SMPS) and mathematical analysis of models. You will ideally have experience in a product manufacturing environment and be able to analyse new circuit concepts using tools such as MatLAB, Simulink & MathCAD, etc and be conversant with other simulation and modelling tools.
As an Electronic Design Engineer/Hardware Engineer you will be involved in the design of next generation advanced devices, designing products for Industrial Control. You will accompany a product through its complete life cycle; concept, simulation, realisation through to mass production. You will design & develop cost effective reliable circuits across a range of the latest electronic products.
The R&D Design Engineer will be involved in the simulation of initial designs, analysis of fault conditions and protection, testing of prototype and first production units, overseeing the creation of production bills of materials, drawings and test instructions. Activities may include contacts with suppliers of materials or design services.
