Conrad Consulting are currently working with a leading M&E contractor based in Birmingham who have a permanent, full-time vacancy for an ambitious Mechanical Design Engineer. This role would likely suit an Intermediate engineer not being used to their full potential, as this contractor will be looking to progress you to a Senior role within your first year.

As the successful Mechanical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work within an award winning contractor where you will gain exposure on a variety of small to large schemes typically within the education (from schools to universities) through to healthcare, commercial and residential buildings. You will be working within a team of 10 specialist engineers/technicians working towards a common goal. You will be expected to design and supervise mechanical services, carrying out detailed design and calculations in accordance with industry guides whilst preparing specifications, reports and drawings to the design programme.

You should have gained a minimum of HNC/HND in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering, you should have a minimum of 4 years PQE gained from a building services environment. Additionally, you will be competent in use of latest design software AutoCAD and Hevacomp, whilst any IES and Revit MEP experience would be an advantage.

For further information on this opportunity, please contact Ben Thompson on 0113 457 0077 or email a copy of your most recent CV at the earliest convenience.
