As part of their planned growth strategy, we are looking for a Senior or Principal Sustainability Engineer with a background in master-planning to work for a high profile, international consultancy that specialises in the design and delivery of sustainable developments within the built environment.

Working as part of the Sustainability team, you will be responsible for taking a lead role in developing the Sustainability strategy for major masterplan projects on a range of both UK and international projects.

This is a great opportunity to work for a global leader in Sustainable Design and utilise your passion and experience in Architecture, Building Physics, Environmental Engineering, Passive Design, Sustainability Benchmarking and low and zero carbon developments.

This role will suit a confident and passionate Sustainability Engineer who is used to setting the sustainability strategy on major developments and can manage and coordinate teams of specialists to produce Bid and tender documents and set the overall direction of new projects.

The ideal Senior / Principal Sustainability Engineer is likely to have around five years post graduate experience in a multi-disciplinary or building services consultancy and previous experience in both UK and international projects. It is essential that you are comfortable working with minimal supervision and can assist with producing concept and competition work and detailed technical reports. Previous experience in working in collaboration with major architects and delivering presentations is also essential.
