Building Services Engineer - London - £40K to £55K + Car + Package

We are representing a market leading and dynamic property surveying firm with an expanding engineering team. They have identified a need to provide additional engineering support to their London operations.

Salary plus pension contributions, private medical insurance, car or car allowance (if chartered), life insurance, accident insurance, professional membership fees, childcare vouchers, cycle to work scheme, personal training budget.

The requirement for this role has come about due to the recent success of their maintenance management service which includes tendering new M&E maintenance contracts, auditing such contracts and providing day to day advice to the building management team on technical issues.

This role will also include undertaking Dilapidations Studies and Condition Reports on all types of building services within commercial properties including commercial offices and industrial units. Additionally, the successful engineer will work closely with the Projects team to provide advice, project monitoring and performance specification advice for refurbishment and fit-out projects.

Excellent report writing and communications skills are required and the ability to liaise professionally with clients and colleagues is essential. This is an exciting opportunity to join a successful expanding team with the full backing of an established company.

  • Electrical Distribution
  • Air Conditioning Systems, including VRV, VAV, Chilled Water Systems (as well as knowledge of older and less common systems)
  • Heating
  • Controls and BMS
  • Fire Alarms, Security and Access Systems
  • Lifts (as far as expected from an M&E point of view)
