Reporting to the Assistant Director of Estates and Facilities (Engineering and Maintenance), the Electrical Engineer will take lead responsibility for advising the University on all aspects of electrical engineering in relation to capital projects, refurbishments and maintenance.

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Estates and Facilities (Engineering and Maintenance), the Electrical Engineer will take lead responsibility for advising the University on all aspects of electrical engineering in relation to capital projects, refurbishments and maintenance. The postholder will be the senior person leading on electrical design and projects from inception to completion and will be responsible for the management of electrical infrastructure across the estate portfolio.
The successful candidate will have proven experience of leading on electrical engineering management across a complex, multi-building estate portfolio. You will possess a relevant technical background and knowledge in an electrical engineering related discipline, thus giving the capability to lead the team and contractors confidently on technical issues. We are seeking a professional with broad electrical engineering and estates management skills, with knowledge and experience of design, maintenance and compliance of electrical building services infrastructure.
