Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias) – (2 man site Canary Wharf). £32-£35k
Our client is a reputable provider of Building Services Maintenance. Established for over 20 years our client operates solely in the private sector, providing superior service to prestigious clients.
Due to continuous growth they are  now looking for an electrical engineer to operate and maintain the back-of-house building infrastructure, and perform planned & reactive maintenance within a residential apartment block in Canary Wharf.
The candidate will need –
•             A thorough understanding of building services systems, associated plant, and equipment.
•             To be able to communicate well, have a “can do” attitude.
•             To be able to self-manage while carrying out day to day duties as instructed by the Site Manager and ensure that their work times are accurately recorded.
•             To have a good awareness of H&S requirements and statutory requirements/inspections.
•             To be able to liaise with and where necessary manage Specialist Sub Contractors
•             To be able carry out planned and reactive maintenance activities
•             To have basic PC skills. The successful candidate for this position will need to pick up occasional email notifications.
•             To be able to support an out of hours emergency call out function and be in able to travel to site at any given time within 2hrs if required.
•             It is vital that the candidate is smart in appearance and has strong communication skills.
•             Anyone currently working within a base-build high-end residential environment would be beneficial for this position.
•             the candidate must understand the importance of maintaining a clean working environment.
08:00-17:00 late shift
07:00-16:00 early shift
Alternate weeks, call out every other week.
Salary: 32-35k p.a. dependant on experience and suitability
Annual leave: 22 days p.a. rising by one day p.a. to a maximum of 28 days p.a.
