Electrical Design Engineer
Up to £35,000 + Generous Benefits

Conrad is currently working with a well-established multi-disciplinary consultancy who are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join their prestigious firm. The successful Electrical Design Engineer will have the chance to work within a team of skilled Design Engineers whose work is recognised for its high quality and eye for detail. This firm takes pride in career progression, allowing employees to reach and exceed their professional capabilities.

Electrical Design Engineers must demonstrate previous experience and good knowledge of Building Services; this will allow them to become an asset to a strong team of Engineers. The successful Electrical Design Engineer must also be comfortable client facing and be able to working independently whilst taking guidance from more experienced engineers.

Electrical Design Engineer Responsibilities:
* Carrying out detailed design of low voltage distribution, lighting, security systems, fire alarms etc.
* Representing the company at client meetings
* Writing technical reports

Candidates applying for the role of Electrical Design Engineer should be able to demonstrate the following experience:
* Qualification in Building Services or Electrical Engineering - Degree preferable although HND plus additional experience acceptable.
* Member of CIBSE, IET or other relevant body (Preferred).
* Experience using relevant design software such as AutoCAD (Essential) and Revit (Preferred).
* Experience using calculation software such as Relux, Dialux or Amtech.
