Property Surveyor/ Building Service Surveyor needed to work within the Technical Services team for the management of water hygiene/ legionella risk within DCC's property portfolio.

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic team member to join our Technical Service Team who manage TREND, energy contracts, renewable energy systems, fire safety, asbestos, legionella, health and safety and other statutory maintenance fields.

The primary role is to manage Water Hygiene for DCC's property portfolio by overseeing and implementing current policy and procedures; from carrying out site risk assessments, managing contracts (contractors and consultants) to problem solving and site level responsible person training. However, working across all the disciplines is possible depending on your experience.

You will be working with other members of Dorset Property to deliver its business, requiring collaborative working.

The following skills/experience are required:

•  Qualification in legionella management or appropriate experience (hot and cold water systems)

•  Experienced building services Mechanical Engineer or Design Engineer

•  Very good communicator with thorough knowledge of construction related health and safety legislation

•  Good IT skills (ideally with CAD experience)

•  Renewable energy system knowledge
