Job Title: Interim Operations Manager (Facilities Management)

Place of Work: Nottingham with occasional visits to London via train

Type: Fixed Term Contract Until March 2018

Salary: £24/28k Neg

Building: Within Nottingham, 3 floors, 1400 employees with a gym on site

Job objectives and responsibilities

Supervise facilities operations within the Nottingham client's building, including the gym. You will be responsible for the day to day organisation of activities providing first line facilities support to ensure that all contract service levels are achieved and reported on periodically. Deliver robust risk management services to the client ensuring Health and Safety compliance, audit compliance and risk mitigation for all service lines in both the Nottingham and London campus. Clearly assume operational responsibility for all H&S and Risk management activities developing all necessary processes, procedures and actions required.

Static position with occasional travel to the London office via train, this individual will need to be flexible as occasionally they will also need to work weekends or evenings for various event, however that is not the norm.

Main purpose of the role:

  • Managing the facilities team (4-5 staff including post room assistants, and facility coordinators)
  • Working closely with the facilities manager
  • Managing the day to day operations

Experience and qualifications needed:

  • Health and Safety background
  • Team management experience
  • Hold IOSH or NEBOSH
  • Facilities background (soft services) would be great, but not an essential
