Principal Electrical Design Engineer – Data Centre Specialist (Oxfordshire – Permanent) - £50,000 - £60,000

 An outstanding international M&E consultancy, are seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to join their expanding Oxfordshire office.

The individual they are seeking needs to be able to lead on medium sized projects, be innovative and client facing.

This Principal will need to have a thorough understanding and experience of delivering data centre and mission critical projects. Other sector experience including healthcare labs and clean rooms would be desirable.

As you will be leading on these projects you will need to possess excellent communication skills and be able to manage and inspire a team of engineers.

You will possess good commercial awareness, in addition to having robust technical knowledge relevant to building services design, and be capable of incorporating those technologies into the data centre sector. 

The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Engineer or working towards, educated to degree level in Building Services Engineering or equivalent and hold membership of relevant institutions.
