SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER / ASSOCIATE

Owing to ongoing success in securing project work, securing our place on numerous major regional frameworks and strategic planned growth in our Building Services Engineering team in Kent, a permanent opportunity has arisen for a motivated and dynamic Senior Mechanical Engineer / Associate to join our Sevenoaks office in Kent. We are particularly interested in candidates with highly developed leadership skills and proven business development skills, as this position has a clear route for progression to Senior Associate level and above.

You will be expected to autonomously develop detailed designs from concept and see projects through RIBA stages 5, 6 and 7. 

You will ideally have 7+ years of design related experience, ideally within a Building Services Engineering Consultancy or multi-disciplinary consultancy. You will ideally be degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering or have equivalent experience, you will be Chartered or working towards Chartered status with CIBSE. You will be fully competent in the use of AutoCAD, Hevacomp and IES and ideally have experience in using Revit, although this is not essential.

With a growing team, you will have experience in managing and mentoring junior and subordinate staff. You will play a very important role in our engineering team and this role offers a fantastic opportunity to grow and develop your career and progress in our business.
