Façade Access Design Engineer
London
£30,000 - £45,000 doe

We have an excellent opportunity for a talented Façade Access Design Engineer to join a successful Design Consultancy in it's Vertical Transportation and Façade Access team.

They are a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy based in central London. They work on a range of high profile and prestigious projects across the UK and internationally.

The Role

You'll be based within an established an growing Vertical Transportation and Façade Access team. Due to on-going success and more project wins, they are looking to build on this and continue to grow the team. In this role you will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide façade access designs.

  • Prepare of façade access strategies.

  • Undertake scheme design and prepare tender packages for façade replacement access services.

  • Undertake site inspections and complete site surveys.

  • Specify required modernisation works, and prepare reports.

  • Assist, train and mentor less experienced members of the team.

  • Communicate directly with Clients and Contractors.

The Person

To be successful in this role our you will need to have in-depth knowledge of the Façade Access design. With a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role. You will have proven and demonstrable knowledge of Façade Access Engineering systems; including their performance, application and operation, and have the ability to apply current engineering standards, practices, regulations and legislation. Experience in AutoCAD will be beneficial.

Ideally you'll be a Chartered Engineer or at least be progressing towards Chartership.
