As an Electrical Engineer, you will be a key member of our Design and Delivery teams, responsible for developing, managing and delivering projects to agreed programmes, responsible for all elements of health and safety, statutory compliance regulations and project budget management. Creating and developing designs that meet and satisfy client briefs, ensuring these are within planned programmes and that designs are within budget, time and quality constraints.
Acting as Contract Administrator/Project Manager(NEC3) on specific allocated projects managing, co-ordinating and motivating a project team.
Providing professional concept designs which recognise and minimise the lifecycle costs of the assets and simplify their future routine maintenance requirements.
Using relevant design packages and project management tools and strategies to monitor and review work programmes;
Providing professional and technical expertise and advice to all stakeholdes
Liaising with and seeking approval as required from statutory and regulating bodies for additional services e.g. Planning and Building Control etc.
You will have:
A range of experience in designing, specifying, site surveying and project management of multiple building projects.
Demonstrable evidence of preparing feasibility studies, financial monitoring, contractual management and negotiating with clients
The ability to work efficiently and effectively and actively looks for ways of improving services and outcomes for customers and clients.
Excellent customer care and interpersonal skills
The ability to lead, inspire and influence teams to meet the desired outcomes and objectives
The ability to make technical decisions and recommendations for all projects against agreed objectives and delivery targets
Proven experience of successful project management of complex multi-disciplinary projects including budgets and final accounts
HNC (or equivalent) in Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering with a broad range of relevant post-graduation monitored professional work experience
