Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer – Building Services

£32,000 - £40,000 plus car allowance and bonus


A Building Services Design Consultancy based in Whyteleafe is currently on the lookout for an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer.

They work in a number of different sectors however their core projects would be in the Residential and Commercial fields with the role involving carrying out high quality designs and helping to work alongside the client.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to come in to a growing company that has projects ranging from £500,000 to £85 million.

From day one the right individual will get exposure to working multi million pound projects and if have not already gained Chartership, you will be supported to do so.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working for a recognized consultancy based in the UK.

They would be looking for someone who has the following skill set:

-          BSc / MSc in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline)

-          Cable calculations using Amtech or Hevacomp

-          Lighting design using Dialux or Relux

-          Experience in residential, commercial and retail projects (at least one of).

-          Ability to work with Revit and within the BIM process (preferred but not essential)
