M&E Clerk of Works required for a busy capital works team
Your new company
A large estate is looking for an experienced M&E Clerk of Works to join their busy capital works department. There is a large number of new schemes coming into construction stage and this has meant the need for an M&E Clerk of Works has arisen.
Your new role
You will be responsible for overseeing projects ranging from 25K to 40M in value. You will be responsible for a couple of projects at any one time. You will be asking to monitor the M&E contractor delivering the mechanical and electrical installations on site. You will report back to the Design Manager on the adherence to the specifications, ensuring the quality of the installation and reporting on progress on site. All projects are commercial and are varied.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally have experience acting in a clerk of works role previously and have worked on capital works programmes before. You will either be from a mechanical or electrical background and have a good working knowledge of the opposite discipline. Membership of the institute of Clerk of Works would be beneficial but not essential.
