Job: CAD / Revit MEP Technician
Salary: £25,000 - £30,000
Location: Kent
To assist in the preparation and compilation of CAD / Revit files to engineers requirements under the guidance of the Building Services Drawing Office Manager, including plans, sections, details and all associated information in accordance with the Company CAD manuals, BS1192, PAS 1192-2 and other relevant standards and best practice etc.
To file all CAD / Revit related information in accordance with the Company CAD/Revit manuals. To issue drawings as requested by project engineers in accordance with the above company procedures.
To work under own initiative within a multi-discipline environment, and to manage a variable and changeable workload under the supervision of the Building Services Drawing Office Manager. To plan own workload and ensure information is produced within parameters set out by the project lead/Building Services Drawing Office Manager.
To assist in the maintenance and development of CAD / Revit library of standard information required for all projects including, CAD block, Revit families, standard details etc.
To assist with updating and maintaining quality control and CAD standards to the CAD managers requirements.
Any other duties reasonably required of the post-holder following consultation.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
At least 2 years AutoCAD/Revit experience in Building Services, either in a contracting or consulting environment.
TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL
Excellent communication skills essential. The ability to work under own initiative, and to work under pressure. The ability to follow instructions and work autonomously.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Autodesk AutoCad/ Revit competency
