As part of their growth strategy for 2018, an award winning international multi-disciplinary engineering and sustainability consultancy are looking for a Junior Sustainability Consultant / SAP Assessor for their London office.

The SAP Assessor will ideally have completed their OCDEA Training and have a good understanding of Energy Assessments, BREEAM, Sustainable Design and Renewable technologies.

Although you will be part of the Sustainability team, you will also work closely with the MEP, Civil & Structural, Environmental you will be responsible for providing both front end and compliance orientated advice on energy strategies and Sustainability and renewable energy appraisals.

You will enjoy a varied role as you get involved in SAP Calculations, Energy Strategies, attending site surveys, liaising with various in-house and external consultants and client and provide them with a range of innovative site wide energy solutions and design guidelines and advice.

This role will suit an experienced SAP Assessor / On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor who has a good holistic understanding of building services, environmental engineering and has appreciation for good architectural design.

Ideally you will have previous experience in carrying out building energy calculations, dwelling emission rates, target emission rates and fabric energy efficiency ratings and have a working knowledge of IES or EDSL Tas. This role will also allow you to further develop your skills of passive design measures, low and zero carbon technologies and also building physics and they are happy to sponsor ongoing CPD and day release.

As you will have multiple live projects to be delivered, it is essential that you can work effectively across varied sites and projects that are at different stages of both planning and construction to ensure milestones and deadlines are adhered to.
