AECOM is currently seeking a BIM Manager, working within the Digital Project Delivery team based at our offices in Birmingham. 

The BIM Manger will take a lead role working to support digital services across EMIA. 

Project delivery will include driving Information Management practices, adopting BIM collaboration processes and ensuring deliverables are met. In addition to the project delivery aspects of the role, the BIM Manager will support continued development of AECOM digital practices and Digital Transformation initiative. 

Job Duties Include:
+ Leading the delivery of BIM processes on projects, with a focus on Civil Infrastructure; 

+ Assisting in mobilising and execution of new BIM projects, including supporting the Digital Health Start process; 

+ Engaging and delivering projects for clients to implement BIM on their projects and meet their requirements; 

+ Grow capability, capacity and services; 

+ Continued development of best practices for BIM in collaboration with discipline leads; 

+ Support in the development of staff through knowledge share and project onboarding; 

+ Driving adoption of QA/QC to ensure validated and verified Project Information Modesl; 

+ Assessment of client’s needs to provide information into asset operation and maintenance phases; 

+ Engagement with software vendors/partners to drive adoption of BIM practices; 

+ Leadership of digital design review sessions where required; 

+ Engagement in Europe, Middle East, Africa and India BIM projects; 

+ Work with DPD colleagues to deliver BIM-GIS connectivity on projects; and 

+ integrated information management delivery supporting DBFO. 

Minimum Requirements 

Specific Skills Required:
+ Working knowledge of BS1192/PAS1192 and experience of project delivery; 

+ Expertise in BIM QA/QC processes and tools; 

+ Expertise in design coordination tools and processes; 

+ Expertise in BIM design tools for Civil Infrastructure; 

+ Advanced knowledge of wider BIM software to inform project mobilisation and delivery; 

+ Proven prior experience with BIM project delivery of all sizes including large & complex ones especially for Civil Infrastructure. 

+ BIM Level 2 process, workflow and project execution essential 

+ Experience of using Glue, Navisworks or Navigator with I-models for digital design reviews. 

+ information Management CDE experience . 

Preferred Qualifications 

+ Bachelor Degree in relevant Engineering or related digital field.
