Your new role
As Technical Services Manager you will be responsible for managing the hard services, Mechanical and Electrical services and building related projects across a portfolio of 11 properties.
You will be working closely with the Senior Facilities Manager, employees within the Group Operations area and nominated third party contractors as required, the Technical Services Manager will ensure all properties comply with statutory and legal obligations and are a safe environment.
You will be overseeing contractors delivering planned and reactive maintenance
Responsible for the 10 year forward maintenance plan
Life cycle projects
Small works projects such as chiller replacement etc
Statutory compliance ensuring all paperwork is in place
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be qualified in a hard services discipline - electrical or mechanical
NEBOSH or IOSH ideally or some other health & safety qualification
Ability to work in a team
Strong technical advisory skills
Management of contractors
What you'll get in return
There is a good package on offer which includes a base salary of between 35-40K, use of a pool car to visit the other sites, 27 days holiday plus 8 days bank holiday, pension, 37.5 hours working week. The offices are bright and modern and a friendly working environment. No parking on site but car parks close by.
