Your new company
You'll be working for a large charity who provide care in 71 properties across Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire & Lincolnshire. They employ over 4000 staff who put their residents at the heart of everything they do.
Your new role
Based out of Oxfordshire, you will be responsible for providing mechanical & electrical support to the rest of the organisation. You will be responsible for the design of mechanical & electrical systems for refurbishment projects and capital projects, such as replacement lighting systems / hvac systems. You will therefore be involved from specifying the project / tender process and then supervising works on site. You will carry out stock condition surveys and plan & update a 5 year programme for planned maintenance works. You will advise on mechanical & electrical maintenance, as well as water systems, legionella etc. You will maintain and update an approved list of contractors.
What you'll need to succeed
You will hold an HND in building services or other related discipline. You will have a good rounded design knowledge of both mechanical and electrical building services. Evidently you will need a background within building services property management. You will have experience of budget management, ideally within a maintenance environment. A membership to CIBSE, RICS, CIOB would be beneficial.

In return you will receive a competitive salary of between £45k-£55k dependant on previous experience.
