I am actively recruiting a Senior candidate with full capability at Associate/Director level for a leading, UK based, Multi-Discipline Consultants based in Doha.

The company are privately owned and run by Engineers, not accountants!

Candidates must hold a relevant Degree and be of Chartered status. 

Also, you must either hold the Qatari Urban Planning and Development Authority (UPDA, MWUP) status or be capable of obtaining/qualifying for same on entry to Qatar.

Given the level of seniority, it goes without saying, you need to have the necessary gravitas to carry out the high level of responsibility given as soon as commencing the role.

You must have managed a team of a minimum of 15 MEP Designers and have been responsible for driving and mentoring the individuals concerned within a UK lead Consulting Engineering company.

Candidates must be Mechanically biased.

The projects the company are currently undertaking are of significant value, all of them, including Rail, Football Stadia, Hospitals and Hotels, therefore, your portfolio must include some challenging high tech projects.

You do not necessarily need to have worked overseas previously although, you will need to demonstrate an understanding of working on projects with a multi-national workforce.

Communication skills need to be of the highest possible order and this is most definitely something you will be judged on, even in the initial Skype/phone interview if you are not locally based.
