Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Your new role
You will be working in the senior electrical team and be responsible for the delivery of a wide range of projects. The nature of those projects will include unique projects in interesting sectors in scales not widely seen in other consultancies.
You will be responsible for carrying out all stages of design including drawings, calculations, specifications, costings & reports. You will also have the opportunity to liaise with clients, attend meetings, site supervision / visits.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed you will need to have experience at a senior level at either a consultancy or contractor who specialise in building services.
You will be educated to at least HNC in Electrical Engineering or Building Services. A membership of a recognised body such as IET , CIBSE etc would also be highly desirable.
Knowledge of software is also important and the key packages used are Amtech, Dialux, Relux.
You will have experience of sharing knowledge and best practice and be a team player as you will be over seeing junior and intermediate engineers. Communicate is key and so strong communication skills will be required as well as being able to integrate well within the team.
