Your new role
This is a varied role where you will be responsible for effectively planning and delivering Mechanical services in the planning, maintenance and improvement of managed housing. You will provide technical services for oil, gas and solid fuel systems, including communal heating systems and various mechanical pumped water systems.
Additional responsibilities include, to name a few, writing statistical reports, carrying out full QA checks on installed systems, ensuring all files are accurate and up to date and manage budgets and expenditure in line with financial regulations.
What you'll need to succeed
You must hold an NVQ Level 3 Gas or equivalent in construction, plus Domestic CCN1. Have a full driving license and access to your own vehicle. Awareness of relevant legislation is important, including Health and Safety, Building regulations and British Standards.
Experience of inspecting mechanical works on domestic and commercial properties is required plus an in-depth knowledge of gas heating systems in domestic installations and knowledge of other systems including commercial gas, solid fuel, electrical and renewable heating systems.
