A large housing association require an experienced Heating Engineer to carryout inspection surveys.

Your new company
Hays are sourcing for an immediately available domestic heating specialist for our client, a large social housing organisation based in Belfast with regional offices across Northern Ireland. This organisation are the largest affordable housing body in Northern Ireland with c.90,000 homes across the country. The organisation require a Gas or Oil Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join them on a temporary basis initially for 3 months subject to further extension.

Your new role
Undertake inspections of the organisations gas & oil heating installations, inspection of quality and workmanship of Gas and Oil heating installations in properties across the organisations South Region. Inspection of external contractor service works on Gas and Oil heating systems in properties within the South Region. Inspection and completion of relevant documentation in relation to gas and oil installations and services.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this position you must be experienced or qualified in domestic plumbing and heating and have a valid UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.
Preference may be given to candidates who are Gas Safe: CCN1 OR OFTEC 101,105 and 600 qualified. Alternatively candidates with a Mechanical or Building Services Degree qualification and 2 years relevant experience OR a HND/C with 3 years relevant experience will be considered.
Our client require that anyone wishing to commence temporary employment undertake a Basic Access NI disclosure at their own cost (c. £26) prior to starting in the position.
You must have a full UK Driving licence with access to a vehicle.

What you'll get in return
This position offers an immediate start following successful application with a minimum of 3 months full work, Monday to Friday 37 hours per week.
The pay rate is £13.45 per hour plus paid annual leave equivalent to 33 days including public holidays.
All business mileage will be reimbursed.
