Water and Hygiene Supervisor
Public sector organisation looking for Water and Hygiene Supervisor to work on a 3 month rolling contract.
Your new company
This is a large public sector organisation looking after a range of buildings, including laboratories, education buildings, research facilities, and high rise residential sector. They are now in the process of re-structure and team expansion and need Water and Hygiene Supervisor that will look after their existing and new built buildings and will report to the Principal Water Safety Coordinator.
Your new role
Your role is to ensure that the correct compliance and health & safety is met with regards to water supply. You will be a key member of the estates team developing procedures and standards that will need to be followed by the team of design and implementation engineers. Reporting to the Principal Water Systems Safety Engineer and producing reports.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a member of a professional institution such as CIBSE or MIET. You will have previous experience working in similar role providing technical knowledge on water hygiene safety, legionella knowledge will be essential in this role as well as have the following accreditation or training: P900/P901/P902, Water Risk Assessments, IOSH working safely. As you will be expected to travel between different locations in Manchester you will need to have a driving licence and have good communication skills to liaise with the estates team and report on the progress of works.
