Your new company
A new job opportunity has arisen for a Contracts Officer with a Surveying or Estimating background to join a busy maintenance team in Inverness and report to the Principal Engineer. My client is an established public sector organisation who needs support due to an increase in workload.

Your new role
As Contracts Officer, you will be working in an office environment looking after mechanical and electrical maintenance contracts. You will process invoices and payments, check technical reports and match them to the invoices as well as work on Excel spreadsheets.

What you'll need to succeed
You must have experience in mechanical and electrical building services, ideally from a Quantity Surveying or Estimating background and be able to understand mechanical and electrical installations, in particular lifts and security alarms. Furthermore, you must be proficient in the use of Excel.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a competitive hourly rate, a temporary contract for initially 3 months and work 35 hours per week. Start date is as soon as possible
