A large, well known, educational organisation are looking for a Reactive Maintenance Supervisor with Plumbing bias to join their team.
Your new role
Reporting directly to the Reactive Maintenance Manager you will be using Micad to prioritise and allocate reactive maintenance work based on the urgency of the task. You will be responsible for breaking down what is required and supporting a team of 10 plumbers and mechanics as they complete the workload.
You will be required to support and supervise the team, providing technical knowledge where possible and escalate when required. This role requires someone with a plumbing background as the team will be responsible for emergency and reactive maintenance and repair of, amongst other areas, steam boilers, biomass boilers and showers.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience in supervising a team plus a relevant qualification in Plumbing such as NVQ Level 2. Previous experience working within the public sector for councils, hospitals, schools or Universities will be an advantage.
What you'll get in return
An open ended, temporary contract with potential to go permanent. This role is Monday-Friday 8.30-4.30 with a very generous 38 days holiday after your initial 12 weeks. Hourly rate up to £16p/h based on your experience.
