Your new company
A medium sized consulting engineer who are currently performing very well in the local New Build Construction market. They are very well established within the Glasgow market and have built up a very strong reputation within the residential, education and commercial sectors meaning they continually gain repeat business from key clients. They are now looking to appoint an experienced Chartered Engineer in an Associate or Technical Director role.
Your new role
In your new role you will be heavily involved in the full project cycle of several residential, education and commercial New Builds. With the seniority of this position there will be a prominent aspect of managing a team of more junior Engineers and Technicians. You will liaise directly with clients, architects and other stakeholders in addition to delegating workloads internally to ensure the timely delivery of projects.
What you'll need to succeed
It is essential that you have a degree in Civil Engineering or similar, have achieved chartership status and have ideally gained your SER certification for Building Structures. It is important that your experience within the New Build Environment is within the residential, education or commercial sectors as this is relevant to this consultancy. You will also have excellent communication skills as a significant aspect of this job involves liaising with clients, and managing a team.
