Our long established client is seeking a Electrical Engineer to join their Glasgow Office. Their increasing workload from a range of high profile local and national projects has led to the need to expand Building Services Engineering design team.
They are therefore looking to recruit an Electrical Engineer to deliver design and consultancy services to existing and new clients based in the Glasgow office. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a highly skilled and experienced team. You will have experience in working for a Building Services Design team, producing Electrical Design solutions and playing influential role in managing projects. The role requires communication and coordination with the project design team as well as clients, vendors and contractors. You will be involved in all phases of the projects from feasibility studies, surveys, concept designs and throughout all stages of the project development.

The ideal candidate will have experience in inspection, specification and design.
Ideally candidates will have some knowledge and practical experience in -
- Electrical design and applications
- Lighting design and applications
- Lighting surveys and reporting LV electrical installations (primarily BS7671)
- Current BS and IEC standards
- Application of key EU and UK legislation
- Experience of AutoCAD
- Knowledge and practical experience of one or more of the following design tools: Calculux DIAlux RELUX AMTECH
