Mechanical Design Engineer (Building Services)
M&E consultancy with a strong pipeline of work is looking for Mechanical Design Engineer.
Your new company
They are a growing SME that is expanding their Manchester office. Having over 20 years of experience working on projects within the private and public sector they have a steady and varied pipeline of work. They work on a range of projects including, commercial, retail, leisure, residential, education and industrial. The team here is very approachable and supportive, one where you will feel welcomed.
Your new role
You will predominantly be involved in detailed mechanical design, specification writing and managing client expectations on a range of projects which do include, commercial office space, leisure centres, schools, high rise apartment blocks and stadiums.
This is a an office based role, however site meetings may be happening sporadically. As this is a hands on role with design you will be working with relevant software that does include AutoCAD and/or Revit MEP.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a degree qualified engineer with strong background in building services design. You must have a track record working on a range of projects as well as being involved in a client facing position. As this role will involve liaising with co-workers and clients you will need good communication skills and be proficient with AutoCAD and ideally Revit. Eligibility to work in the UK is required.
