We are currently recruiting for a Building Physics / Building Sciences Engineer to join our well -established Sustainable Design Solutions team in London. As one of the largest Building Services consultancies in the UK we consider our staff to be our greatest assets and are driven by designing innovative, high performing buildings that exceed our client's expectations.

With a network of multiple offices across the UK and Europe and around 300 staff, we are perfectly positioned to design, plan and deliver a project of any size or complexity.

Based in our recently refurbished, open plan design studio you will enjoy working on a diverse range of sectors such as commercial offices, healthcare, education, mixed-use and defence projects. Using a range software such as IES, Hevacomp, Revit and Grasshopper you will adopt a pragmatic approach to energy efficient design and simulate how buildings will perform and reduce their environmental impacts and optimise building performance.

You will also use Integrated Environmental Services (IES) to carry out Thermal modelling, daylight modelling, Part L calculations, natural ventilation simulations and overheating analysis and also assist with carrying out POE's on completed developments.

Whilst not essential; additional qualifications as a Low Carbon Energy Assessor, BREEAM Assessor or Passivhaus Consultant and some previous HVAC Design experience would be great however certainly not essential.

In addition to a salary of £33 - £40K we also offer;

  • CIBSE approved Training and Development scheme
  • 23 days holiday
  • 4 x Life Assurance (4 x basic salary)
  • Private medical insurance, dental insurance or subsidised gym membership
