M&E Project Manager
Are you an electrically biased engineer, with a passion for construction project management?
We are seeking an exceptional M&E Project Manager to join our Harrods Store Development Team, to ensure the consistent and high quality delivery of all building services systems across the Harrods Capital Works Programme.
We have just embarked on a c. £200million CAPEX investment programme which will run until 2020, to ensure we fully utilise our retail space to its’ full potential, and which will see some major renovations to our iconic Knightsbridge store. We are continually investing in our store, and this will see the emergence of other exciting projects following the completion of this investment programme in 2020.
As a Project Manager in our Store Development team, you will manage wide-ranging projects from start to finish, with a focus on implementing all building services systems from design and planning through to implementation and evaluation. As you will also be liaising frequently throughout projects with both internal stakeholders and external clients, it is important that you have confidence and excellent communication skills.
Projects at Harrods are fast-moving, so strong organisational skills are essential to maintain the highest possible standards whilst working to strict deadlines. You will be a team player with a desire for excellence, and have the ability to oversee a design team responsible for project designs.
You will be professionally qualified in construction with an engineering related degree, HND or equivalent with a clear understanding of the principles of good design. You should be an electrically biased engineer with a good understanding of all MEP systems. You will possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience of Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health services related design, or experience in a project management role for a retail or blue chip organisation.
