Your new company
A global firm of designers, planners, engineers, consultants and technical specialists offering a broad range of professional services. The Belfast office work on a diverse range of projects covering water and wastewater treatment, bioresources treatment, pumping stations, storm water drainage and flood prevention, renewable energy technologies and energy efficiency review.

Your new role
You will lead the mechanical discipline in the delivery of designs for water sector clients. You will be responsible for managing and supervising colleagues in the production of project outputs. You will ensure that projects deliver the required commercial outcomes and be involved in writing proposals for new work. You will provide input at all stages of the project life cycle from concept to delivery, including detailed design and advisory services.

What you'll need to succeed
Bachelors or Masters degree in mechanical engineering (or similar). Chartered or Incorporated member of the IMechE (or equivalent professional institution). Excellent knowledge of mechanical equipment used in potable water treatment, wastewater and sludge treatment, and network infrastructure projects. You will have experience of leading mechanical design teams and project management. You will have knowledge of CAD software for creating P&IDs, 2D and 3D designs, and understanding of how this is used in the BIM environment.
