Your daily roles as a Mechanical Engineer will include working as part of a design team to create detailed design for a variety of building types. You will be expected to use a range of software's such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Hevacomp, Tas & IES. You will get the opportunity to oversee the installation of all building systems to ensure that the contractors are carrying out the project correctly and to the specified UK regulatory standards. You will be expected to liaise with professionals of a variety of disciplines and will be able to comfortably converse with clients. You will feel at home advising clients and architects on energy use and conservation in a range of buildings and sites, aiming to minimise the environmental impact and reduce the carbon footprint as well as designing site specific software as and when needed.
Mechanical Engineer Requirements:
- Degree qualified or relevant equivalent
- Minimum of 3-7 years' experience within the building services industry
- Working towards chartership or aspire to within the next year
- Able to use a variety of design packages to a high level
- Full UK driving license
- Able to work in the UK freely
