Fire Risk Assessor
Your new company
Due to an increase in workload, a new job opportunity has arisen for a freelance Fire Risk Assessor to join a busy team that looks after commercial buildings in Dundee.
Your new role
You will be required to review fire risk assessments for commercial buildings, such as schools and offices and make sure that they comply with current legislation and standards. You will prepare reports to management recommending prioritised actions regarding fire safety improvements.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful for the role you need to be fully conversant with the current fire safety legislation. You must have a fire risk qualification as well as previous experience working in this field and ideally come from a surveying or facilities management background. You will have a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle. A have a strong knowledge of IT including Word/ Excel is essential too.
What you'll get in return
You will be offered a competitive hourly rate working 37 hours as standard. You will be part of a friendly team working for a prestigious employer. This job is temporary for 3 months with the potential of it being extended beyond that.
