FM Contracts Supervisor
Established local FM contractor are seeking to appoint an additional person to their contracts team in Belfast

Hays are working on behalf of a local specialist facilities maintenance contractor who are renowned for the quality of their services and the level of training they provide to their staff on an ongoing basis. They have an enviable list of clients in most sectors including Retail, Health Care, Education, Commercial Office as well as local and central Government. This company are based in Belfast from a modern office environment, easily accessible via main road networks and has free onsite car parking.
Your new role
You will be assigned a selection of live contracts for which you will coordinate the planned and reactive maintenance ensuring the client receives a prompt, friendly and efficient service. You will monitor the helpdesk to action jobs, following the set company procedures and liaise with each client throughout. Appoint the appropriate engineers and trades along with any necessary sub-contractors. Ensure all jobs are completed and invoiced as quickly as possible with the review of all invoices from suppliers and sub-contractors against agreed costs.
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will have previous experience in the FM Maintenance industry and knowledge of gas, water, legionella, unvented systems OR basic electrical principles, HV & LV generation, distribution and switchgear, BS wiring regulations, inspection and testing and portable appliance testing.
You will either be from a time served Plumbing, Heating or Electrical trade background or 3rd level qualification in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Additionally it would be beneficial to have knowledge of BMS Controls, renewable sources of energy and energy management.
What you'll get in return
The salary range for this position is £25,000 - £30,000 however our client are willing to offer a higher salary for candidates who exceed the criteria.
