Your new role

You'll be working closely with the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer on projects including: housing developments, distributed heat networks and commercial business. This covers energy demand and infrastructure analysis, low carbon energy strategies, and renewable energy generation. Key areas of the role will include design, project management, client management, developing new propositions, supporting construction and operations plus strategic input to the rapid growth of our established team.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful you'll need to be proactively working towards chartered status. To be successful in the role you'll ideally have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar client-facing role in the energy and wider building services/energy efficiency industry. You'll have strong knowledge of generation technologies and renewable or low carbon heat/power sources including CHP, heat pumps, gas/biomass boilers. Ideally, you'll have knowledge of building services within commercial and public-sector operations. Desirable experience includes: experience in dealing with commercial business and local authorities, CIBSE Low Carbon Consultant, CIBSE Heat Networks Consultant and experience with AutoCAD and modelling software such as IES, Hevacomp, Revit.

What you'll get in return
