Intermediate to Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

A multi-office building services consultancy has an immediate permanent requirement for an intermediate to senior level mechanical services design engineer for their Surrey office.

You would be expected to deliver large complex and niche residential and commercial projects on time and to the highest technical standard.

You will need to be both a team player working within a multi-disciplined group assisting other engineers along with helping and encouraging the graduate members, and have the initiative to work alone.

You will monitor the quality control on projects to ensure the company quality standards are being achieved, prepare calculations /specifications and drawings, ensuring they comply with the clients brief.

You should have a minimum of 6 relevant design engineering experience preferably to have been gained in the UK.

This experience should be across large new build and fit out commercial, residential and mixed use developments in the UK.

You should also have the following.

Possess an strong knowledge of Building Services Engineering Systems including their performance, application and operation
Excellent communication skills at all levels
Excellent Client / Architect acing skills
Enthusiastic, proactive, adaptable and approachable
Relevant Mechanical Design Engineering qualifications – ideally a degree+
Member of CIBSE or IMechE
Chartered status – or working towards chartered status
