Associate Electrical Design Engineer – City Of London - £60K - £75K

I am currently working with one of the UK’s well respected consultancies who are looking to appoint an Associate Electrical Design Engineer due to the continuous winning of new projects, which is resulting in expansion of their Electrical team.

They currently have an office based in London and are looking to expand the team. They have continued to grow rapidly over the last few years which has been in line with their planned growth strategy. Due to their strong reputation and the continuous winning of projects, this gives my client the opportunity to continue to grow and deliver even more top projects across the globe.

As an Associate Electrical Design Engineer you will still be carrying out concept design to detailed design whilst being the lead on large scale global projects and deliver them to a high standard whilst meeting deadlines. You will also have a team of engineers working under you that you will mentor and help develop and have overall responsibility for. The Associate Electrical Design Engineer will also be expected to maintain excellent client relationship, so you must be someone that is able to stand on their own two feet and have good communication skills. You will also have the opportunity to win your own projects and build new relationships.

My client is also not shy to promote, if you put in the work and deliver projects on time and to an excellent standard, you will have a great chance to be promoted within twelve months to an Associate Director.

They are a strong believer in staff development and have a CIBSE approved mentoring scheme. The successful Associate Electrical Design Engineer will be expected to be hands on with their work on order to deliver projects to a high standard. They also offer great flexibility, they are very supportive of a good work/life balance.

In return for the Associate Electrical Design Engineer opportunity my client is able to offer a brilliant salary and great benefits and as stated, before excellent opportunities for progression.

This is a fantastic company with an opportunity not to be missed.

Some agencies like to clog email servers and waste paper by sending your CV out to companies that you wouldn't want to work for. Here at Skilled Careers, we're very selective about who we'll show your CV. To us, it's more than a piece of paper, it's a personal and vital document that needs to be treated with respect. We take time to find out what you really want, and we make sure that we only send your CV to companies that best meet your needs and to a role that has been discussed with you to ensure a “Fit” is there.

So if you're finding some agencies are wasting your time, talk to an agency that won't. You don't show everyone your CV. Neither will we.
