Senior Mechanical Engineer - Building Services

Within the market they provide advice, technical knowledge and design to a range of sectors including Healthcare, Highways & Transport, Retail, Commercial, Education and Defence. They have been established in Northern Ireland for many years and have a strong track record for delivering large-scale projects throughout the province.

Your new role
You will be responsible for leading the mechanical engineering delivery on a range of diverse projects from concept through to implementation stage. Supervision and management of the detailed mechanical design, specification and BIM model production. Attending meetings and communicating with clients to establish their needs. Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior members of the team.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be expected to have a relevant degree in building services or equivalent, be a member of the MCIBSE, MIMechE or equivalent professional body, although relevant design experience would be considered. Ideally, you will have experience from an engineering consultancy and either be a Chartered Engineer or working towards becoming a Chartered Engineer. Experience in lieu of formal qualifications will be considered.
