Senior Electrical Engineer

Senior Electrical Engineer required to join an award winning international multi-disciplinary consultancy with impressive growth plans over the next few years.

The company have been established for over 20 years and have a network office through the UK and a growing presence in the middle and far east. They work across a diverse portfolio of projects including residential, aviation, commercial, education, healthcare, science and retail projects, they continue to buck the trend with an enviable order book of work, several office relocations, internal promotions and team growth in 2017 and 2018.

Due to planned growth of the Surrey office they are looking to add a talented and driven electrical engineer at senior level. The company recognise and reward their staff, and they can offer a clearly defined career progression plan, the immediate requirement is for a senior engineer who can lead, motivate and energise engineers, manage projects through various stages of work, and liaise with clients, contractors and architects.

Responsibilities will include:

• Leadership of projects including management of resources and budgetary analysis and control
• Developing concept and detailed design in line with client briefs
• Producing electrical specifications
• Representing the business at client, site and design meetings
• Preparation of Fee submittals and project bids
• Reviewing electrical design, mentoring and inspiring engineers

The successful engineer for this role with be fully conversant in the use of Hevacomp, Dialux and Relux calculation software along with technical exposure to BIM and REVIT MEP. The ideal candidate will also be degree qualified in electrical engineering or building services and ideally be chartered or be able to show considerable progress towards achieving chartered status.
