Job Details
Our client, a medium sized MEP design consultancy in Surrey are keen to add a Senior Mechanical Design engineer to close knit team. Working on a range of projects within London and surrounding areas you will be tasked with designing and managing a set of your own projects.
Working with Directors who still actively design, the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will work on projects from concept to completion ensuring the clients brief is delivered on time and within budget. Working within an illustrious client base which includes well known architects and large developers, the consultancy has continued to win lots of repeat work and is more than capable of forging key relationships with new clients.
Carrying a minimum of 10 years' experience in mechanical building services engineering, you will have worked on a number of projects from start to finish. Ideally you will be degree qualified and actively be pursing CEng. The consultancy operates a complete design service therefore you will have a good appreciation for other disciplines such as electrical/PH and understand the wider picture of sustainability. Mentoring more junior engineers you will be given the opportunity to lead a team to successfully complete projects.
Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Role Requirements
·Degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering
·Minimum 10 years in mechanical design for BS
·Good knowledge of UK building regs
·Good communication skills
·Software knowledge to include AutoCAD and Revit MEP
·Willingness to mentor more junior engineers
