Are you looking for a brilliant new opportunity to move up the ranks from your current position as a Mechanical Engineer and in to the position of an Associate Mechanical Engineer?

The client we are working are an established Building Services Consultancy and has made a name for themselves within the industry, they are at forefront of design and currently have a strong team of engineers at the moment and are still growing, they boast an impressive portfolio of projects and are currently looking for an Associate Mechanical Engineer to come and assist them with their workload in their office in Bristol.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone that is currently in a Senior/Principal position but aspires to move in to an Associate level role. They are looking for an ambitious individual that is looking for their next step up in to an associate role, someone that is willing to grow with the company. Being fully conversant with Autocad, Cymap or Hevacomp as you will be expected to help with the designs. The successful candidate will be in control of all of the mechanical workload in the Bristol office and will be the direct line to the Associate Director. This position will provide an excellent career opportunity and you will benefit from a first-rate remuneration package.

You will be expected to work on a wide variety of different industries and will be able to liaise with clients and other professional within the business to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget to the client's standards. You will be expected to go out and win work for the business whilst still being technically brilliant when it comes to the detailed design of a variety of buildings throughout a range of different sectors.

Associate Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience within a Building Services environment
  • Degree or relevant equivalent in Electrical Engineering
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
  • Ability to mentor junior and intermediate engineers
  • Good experience within a variety of sectors
  • Able to create and deliver client presentations
  • Good knowledge of a variety of different design software
