Great contract opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to come and join a small but very busy building services consultancy.
Our client has been established for over a decade and have built a reliable and consistent workload with a number of clients throughout a variety of different sectors. They have recently won multiple projects and are on the lookout for a talented and well versed Senior Mechanical Engineer to join them in their Newcastle office that can produce drawings to a high standard and is able to work to tight deadlines. This is an ongoing contract offering a lot of longevity for the right engineer so there is some good money to be made with this company!
To be considered for this position you need to be an innovative time served engineer with 8+ years of experience with in the building services industry and will have worked in a variety of different sectors on projects of different scales. You will be able to switch between projects and be able to produce detailed designs to an exemplary standard. You will be having experience working in a close-knit team and be able to mentor more junior engineers when needed.
Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:
- Degree or HNC in building services/ mechanical engineering
- At least 8 years' experience within a design role within a building services consultancy
- CEng or working towards chartership
- Good knowledge of a variety of design software
- Full UK driving license
