E3 Consulting Engineers are a small, dynamic building services design practice at the forefront of low energy building design, working in a range of industry sectors. About the role
Your primary role will be the delivery of engineering designs for buildings from concept level to completion on site. You will be client facing and you will engage directly with the design team during the design phase of the scheme. On site you will monitor progress, attend regular meetings and you will take a leading role during the commissioning and handover phase of the project. The role will involve working on multiple projects at various stages so it will be an advantage if you enjoy variety. You will be working in a team and will report directly to the Partners.
You should be qualified as (or be working towards) CEng status, with a BEng or MEng degree in a relevant Engineering discipline, and a minimum of 2 years’ experience of working as a building services design engineer. You may have more experience and are looking for a role where you can act as the lead engineer with a view to taking on increasing management and leadership responsibilities. You should be an effective communicator, motivated, practically minded, independent, enthusiastic and personable. You will be a fluent user of Microsoft Office and you should also be competent in software relevant to your discipline such as Amtech, Autocad, Revit, IES or Dialux.
