Senior Mechanical Engineer

The client that we are currently working with are one of the leaders and have offices across the country with hundreds of employees. They work on some brilliant projects from their UK offices and are looking to add a well versed and technically capable Senior Mechanical Engineer to come and join their building services division in Bristol to assist with their ever-increasing workload.

Senior Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities:

Leading as well as working alongside the design team to ensure all projects are met to the correct specifications
*Undertaking detailed mechanical building services design calculations.
*Producing feasibility reports, design specifications and drawings suitable for a wide range of design phases
*Surveying of Mechanical Building services
*Liaising with other professionals within the business as well as externally to ensure all specifications are met
*Attending a range of project group and technical meetings
*ensuring designs meet the regulatory and legislative standards required
*Designing site-specific equipment as required
*Overseeing and supervising the installation of building systems and specifying maintenance and operating procedures

What is required from you as a Senior Mechanical engineer is that you have a minimum of 10 years' experience in a similar role within a design capacity and ideally will have achieved or be working towards chartership. You will also have a good appreciation of other disciplines and will be able to liaise with other professionals. You will have good working knowledge of a variety of different software packages and be able to use them daily. You will be able to manage multiple projects at one time and be able to lead teams of engineers whilst mentoring them to achieve their own potential with in the business.
