Job Details

M&E Condition Surveyor, 12 month contract, Immediate Start

Your new company
You'll be working for an organisation that is responsible for over 400 historic buildings nationally. The buildings that this client manages range from Castles to Palaces through to visitor centres and the like, so no day will be the same. The sites that you'll see on a daily basis will rival any other taking you to some of the greatest places in England. The organisation's head office is based in Swindon so travel to the office will be expected on a frequent occurrence.

Your new role
As an M&E condition Surveyor, you will be responsible for visiting the organisation's buildings across the UK to ascertain required maintenance works. You will therefore be offering advice on all aspects to do with building services maintenance. You will take a lead in a mechanical & electrical asset capture project & in turn offer advice on life cycle management. You will be carrying out audits & quality checks to make sure all of the estate adhere to building services policies and procedures. Based out of the client's southwest office, this will be a national role, allowing you to get out and visit some of the UK's most interesting buildings.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have a proven track record operating as an M&E condition surveyor and ideally be a member of CIBSE, although not essential.

What you'll get in return
This will be a 12-month contract initially but will likely have the option to go permanent at the end of the contract. You will be able to work a flexible working arrangement and there will be potential to be home based with travel.
