Project Manager role for a well established Company. £45000 - £55000


Our projects include large industrial and commercial schemes with contract values over £30 million to smaller schemes and working for interesting clients including F1 Teams, motor manufacturers, Schools/Universities, contractors, developers etc.

As the demand for our expertise continues to grow, we now have an opportunity for an Project Manager to join our significantly (Over 50 Project Managers in 8 UK locations) experienced and talented Project Management Team. You will be working on a large mixed use scheme worth circa £65m for the first Phase with an excellent chance for career progression whilst working very closely with an Equity Partner as well as the wider Project Manager team

Based at our idyllic headquarters offices with over 200 staff in Oxford, you will be responsible for effectively and efficiently managing a variety of prestigious projects from start to finish, with a clear objective of implementing the clients' project requirements.

Main Duties:
*Establish detailed Client's brief and responsibilities of consultants and specialists and maintain communication with the client and the design team
*Conduct feasibility studies, including site surveys, site investigation, site evaluation etc
*Co-ordinate and obtain planning consents and all necessary statutory approvals
*Manage finances from inception to completion, including cash flow forecasts, monitoring project expenditure, and recommendations of payments by client
*Interview and select contractors for tendering or negotiation, evaluate tenders received and appoint contractor
*Inspect and monitor the construction works with regard to quality and conformity to agreed specifications and drawings
*Chair progress, co-ordination and project meetings throughout the contract period
*Prepare regular reports to clients on all aspects of the project including progress, programme, costs, risks and quality
*Provide single point of contact taking responsibility for all aspects of the project and liaise with the client

Skills Required:
*Ideally MRICS or MCIOB qualified with Project Management experience
*Proficient in the use of MS Office and particularly MS Project is essential
*Healthcare industry experience would be highly desirable

To be a successful Project Manager you will need to be an excellent communicator who can articulate complicated issues between our clients and our highly skilled project teams. You will also need to show ambition and a willingness to work flexibly, both in the office and on-site, whilst demonstrating commercial awareness and exhibiting the ability to lead teams to get the job done!
